Now, if you were kayaking in an indestructible unsinkable kayak, you would look at this set of rapids as a walk in the park. But when you are in a dug out canoe, 2 days down river, and your only prospect of getting back to base camp if you break your boat, is walking. Well, you just don't take the risk. Here is a video of a nice little set of rapids over which we had to portage.
